A Visit to an Ancient Castle
182 từ5 câu hỏi
Hello, Aunt Hoa! Thank you for the lovely postcard from Hue. Last Sunday our class visited an ancient castle near the city, and I want to tell you about it. When our bus arrived, a guide was standing at the gate. She showed us the castle, a magnificent monument of our heritage. While we were walking through the complex, she explained each structure. Many generations lived there, and they observed many old customs. Near the river there is a religious temple. When we passed it, a family was praying there. The guide told us that local people preserve this tradition. After the tour, we had lunch in a garden. Some workers were repairing the old gate when we left. Today the castle is not occupied, but it is open to visitors. I took many photos, and I will contribute some to our school heritage board. The board will promote the history of our city. I wish you lived closer, because I could show you the castle myself. Maybe we can visit it together in summer. Please write back soon. Love from Lan!
