The father promised that if the weather stayed sunny, they would celebrate a harvest night. The family also went offline on purpose some days, but Lan kept short times for online learning. In the evening her grandmother told old stories about the village. Lan wanted to revive those stories, so she wrote them in her notebook. She admired how independent the children were. The visit had a strong impact on her, and she may study culture later. When summer was over, Lan promised to maintain contact with the family.
