Traffic safety helps every student in our city. Many of us ride bikes or take a bus to school. It is about two kilometres from my house to the school gate. I ride a bike, but the road near the river is bumpy. So I go slowly there and stay in the cycle lane. People on bikes shouldn't call friends or ride on the pavement. Pedestrians should cross at the zebra crossing and look both ways. Drivers should obey traffic rules and watch every road sign. Passengers should put on a seatbelt when they sit in a car. Traffic jams often appear near the market at seven. So I leave home early. Last week our class made a poster about safe travel. It shows a bike in the cycle lane. We want every family to obey these rules every day.
